Heading off to the wedding

We are leaving at 9 am tomorrow morning for Charleston, where my brother is getting married.  I'm excited about this and am ironing and packing.

I have to read scripture in the wedding, (I Corinthians 13:1-13, that's the passage about love), and the sister who lives in Charleston is singing.  I'm used to being part of church services, as I often function as the litergist at my church.  My other sister is the only introvert of the group, so she is not a part of the ceremony.  We have lots of family coming and I'm looking forward to seeing them all.  I really like all of my exended family, the cousins and aunts and uncles and greats and grands.  And we know how to give a bang-up, good party, even when it's a dressy affair.  So it should be really fun!

And the handkerchief is complete.  Here it is:

Yes, it's slightly ruffled.  I knew it would be, and had put in extra mignonette to create that effect.  I do hope the bride appreciates it.

See you after the wedding!
