The kittie blankie

The hairpin lace blankie is done.  I finished the double crochet edging last night.

It's not perfect, it's not as good as some might do, but it's done and good enough.  Wants blocking.  The side are straight, but the ends are a bit wiggly - that's the nature of hairpin lace.

Suitable for use as a lovey, soft and snuggly.  Washable too. 

Now I need to get it in the mail for this little monkey, my youngest niece.  Isn't she a cutie?
