What I'm doing

I'm in between big projects at the moment (and I can't type right now - that came out "bewtenn" and "tje" for "the").   I'm working on a 100 Things post.  And I'm tatting a cross for a friend of the family who's lost a brother.

I got on the train the morning with an empty shuttle and a ball of Lizbeth.  The train sat at the station for a bit (I get on at the end of the line) so I had time to wind my shuttle and get started.

Here's what I did this morning when I could get a seat on the train.  (It's hard to tat on the platform if the train will be there in less than 2 minutes.)  As you can see, I use the floss threaders for MTT.  This will be Mary Konior's Large Cross from Tatting with Visual Patterns.  It's done in Lizbeth Caribbean, size 20.  I really like this thread color - it's cheerful.

And this is cheery too.

Roses as shrubbery in front of my office.  I love the masses of color.  There are red ones as well...

I feel like a sleep walker today.  I've been feeling this way since the pollen came on full force - and I use Claritin so I'm not miserable.  But I feel pretty whiped out, especially in the mornings.  I can barely drag myself out of bed.  It doesn't help that I am not a morning person.  (DH is, and he doesn't understand how I can still stay in bed when he bounds up.)  Plus, I watched Glee last night (Squee!) and then had some Curly issues, which riled up the household and me.  So I didn't go to bed until after Letterman had started.

Right now all I want to do is put my head down on my desk and sleep.  Zzzzzz...

To wake up, I'm doing some NOT WORK items (I'm on a conference call even as I type - I can multitask!).  Moe loved this link on Gummi Bear surgery.  And I loved this fun item for kitties...

And now I have to go to an actual, face to face meeting.  Darn.  I think I have some caffeine to wake me up.

Toodles.
