Therapy
What I did yesterday for my mental health.
I hadn't thrown since 2005. It's good to know I'm not a lost cause and hadn't forgtten everything. I made more than this one, but I also had a number of flops. This is a good start though!
I had one pottery teacher say that she could relieve all sorts of stress by smashing the dried boo-boos for rehydrating. She had a brick wall that she would throw them against. Mental health can come from clay in many ways! Hope you are on the level again. I worry about your hubby and that pillow. ;-)
It's beautiful! You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteDwell done, Nice bowl, I hope you have another go and make a few more, how about a dinner service.?

Day-um. I am impressed. Years ago I tried and failed miserably at throwing. But at least I tried!
ReplyDeleteWell done, looking good.
ReplyDeleteThis is a GREAT start! Flops are so commonplace in throwing, don't mind them.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's lovely. I've never tried pottery. Maybe I should.
