I love the Twirly! It's tatted in Jess's Queen Anthias size 20.
And Fox has beaten me to my assigned tat of the Square Motif in the May 2013 issue of Tatting Times. Darn. But - Fox is no longer a working gal, and so she had more time to tat. Unlike me. I am undaunted. I'll finish this soon. (Tatted in Lizbeth size 20.) I'm trying to do this all in one pass, no cuts until the bitter
I also found this wonderful item Monday - actually recorded and filmed by astronaut Chris Hadfield aboard the International Space Station.
Upon request, the furry guys:
BTW, Vader's original owner, Curly, has been retrieved from the poky. He seems to be repentant of his sins, or so he appears. We shall see...
Ohhh, that Cisco! Soooo handsome! And Vader - well, what can one say? He sure doesn't seem to have a care in the world! Your three cats definitely have different personalities! Thanks for the 'photo update!!
ReplyDeleteThe twirly motif is festive! And you have a good start on the square motif! I'm actually amazed you have ANY time to tat! I couldn't believe how you managed to teach classes at TWO major tatting conventions. It's all I can do to just set up my table and demonstrate - not as stressful as preparing lessons and teaching! My hat is off to you!
Love it all - the tatting, the kitties, and the singing astronaut!
ReplyDeleteNo longer a working gal? Wherever do these rumours begin?
ReplyDeleteLove Jane's pattern!
Fox ( taking a coffee break)
I like the Twirly and Jess's thread worked out.
ReplyDeleteThe square motif will be pretty.
I like it, well here's another non working girl, unemployed and in pain hoping for surgery.
ReplyDeleteI love your twirly is lovely, love the colours.
I look forward to seeing your square motif.
Nice pictures of your cats.
Margaret ( now going to get ready to go out by the look it will be raining by the time I get going)
